Urethral Diverticulum: MRI

Uretheral diverticulum is a cystic lesion that typically arises from the posterolateral mid or distal urethra. It often wraps around the urethra. Urethral diverticula usually communicate with the urethral lumen and protrude through and stretch the periurethral smooth muscle.
