Endometriosis-MRI

Patient with pain left lower abdomen. 38 year old. MRI pelvis was advised.
Uterus appears bulky for age and retroverted in position. Thickening of the junctional zone along with T2 hyperintense areas in the left lateral and posterior myometrium suggesting possible adenomyosis.  Heterointense signal in relation to the uterosacral ligaments.  Multicystic appearance of the left adnexa ~4.7 x 3.7cm with blood products and altered tubo-ovarian relationship. Fluid in the POD.  These findings are consistent with pelvic endometriosis with left adnexal endometriotic cyst and adenomyosis.   Needs laparoscopic and histopathological correlation.
