Early Articular cartilage damage-Role of DTI

In a recent article published in Radiology by José G. Raya. et al used diffusion-tensor (DT) imaging of articular cartilage to detect and grade early cartilage damage in human specimens with early signs of cartilage damage. DTI showed excellent performance in the detection of cartilage damage and good performance in the grading of cartilage damage.DT imaging of articular cartilage can enable physicians to detect and grade early cartilage damage.
